Auto Insurance Explanation I Was In An Auto Accident And Now Have Medical Bills. My Health Insurance Paid Them But Doesn't The Auto Pay?

I was in an auto accident and now have medical bills. My health insurance paid them but doesn't the auto pay? - auto insurance explanation

I have copies of the Declaration of the benefits that my health insurance pay for my medical expenses of an automobile accident. I live in Missouri. Is car insurance requires that you always pay the full amount of the bill?

If you pay the bills, so what? I think insurance is necessary to pay first

I dealt with medical claims for over 5 years and during that time, there were occasions when the first health plan to pay. However, it is likely that the reimbursement of automobile insurance. So, if by accident, the car company makes a payment to you, either before the collapse of your medical provider or money in the bank. Not occur because the company doctor to request a refund later on in the future.

Since this is a car accident, car manufacturers have the primary responsibility. Your insurance should collect everything that is not covered by the policy of the automobile.

In Missouri, the insurance covers other medical expenses if the accident is your fault.

If an accident is the fault of someone else will your insurance pay for your injuries.

If the accident was the fault of another person and who is insured or was an insurance policy that can not cover your injuries, you have under your health insurance / Uninsured Motorist coverage inadequate. MO does not necessarily) PIP (personal injury or no fault PIP provisions.

Thus, if the accident is your fault, no medical care available outside of their health insurance. Moreover, it is rare that a health insurance company to pay the bill, then the reimbursement of automobile insurance, if there is no $ $ available.
